bombarding us with questions. So we decided to open a Q&A session while the company that Director Sim works for… Wait, this sounds weird.
[Oh] Let me do it instead. [Lee] Just…keep quiet. [Oh] Our beloved Director Sim from “Simtory” channel actually has a separate day job. She works at a startup company
called “Healthy Brothers.” [Lee] It’s a company specializing in home-training. [Oh] What was her title again?
[Lee] CDO!
[Oh] CDO Sim! [Woo] Yup, she’s CDO Sim. [Lee] You know those high ranking staff have their own
BGM when they come out in sitcoms. [Woo] She really is a chairman. [Oh] So she doesn’t just film and edit
Youtube videos as a director, but actually has a separate main job. [Woo, Lee] Right, right. [Oh] Our director seemed to have lots of questions
about exercising as well. So she will be throwing us some questions and of course we’ll be including the questions
our viewers left in our comments. during our Q&A session today. [Sim] We normally think it’s better to skip dinner
when we’re going on a diet, but personally I find it a lot easier to skip breakfast. Should I be changing my routine? [Woo] It depends on the person. I mean, everyone has a different lifestyle, so the level of hunger each person experiences
during a certain time frame can differ. I’d say it’s best to follow the routine
you feel most comfortable with. I know that lots of human and animal researches report
that you gain more weight if you eat before going to bed and that timing does affect your metabolism. But what we emphasize the most in the end is to limit your calorie intake in a sustainable way. That’s the most important part. So if skipping breakfast
doesn’t impact the rest of your day and doesn’t stress you out so much, then that’s the right routine for you. If you decide to go on a 500kcal diet and find that routine sustainable, go ahead and do it. You don’t need to feel pressured
about having to skip dinner. [Sim] I have one last question. How do we keep our minds under control
when we’re experiencing stress from losing weight? [Woo] Ooh, Mind control. [Oh] There are some psychiatrists who conduct
diet programs for obese patients. Of course, managing your hormones and
controlling your diet is very important, but your central nervous system is
in charge of controlling your appetite so receiving cognitive behavioral therapy or maintaining a strong will can be just as important. Also, you naturally feel depressed
once you limit your carbohydrate intake. What’s most important is to maintain
a durable level of constraint. It’s difficult to keep up with your routine
if you’re being overly stressed out. I know that Dr. Lee has been through that experience. [Lee] I was really unhappy during that period. [Oh] Your body may lose weight and get healthier― [Lee] I don’t know about that, either. [Oh] In the end, you couldn’t keep it up for a long time. It’s important to maintain a diet routine that is sustainable for you, at a degree that you feel is bearable. If you get stressed out about restraining your diet, I know this could sound harsh, but exercising is actually a good way
to relieve some of that stress. [Woo] Once again, we know it sounds harsh, but it has been repeatedly proven
through medical reports that the level of depression
significantly decreases through exercise. [Oh] Exercising has a tremendous effect
on mild depression, and it’s even more effective if you receive
medical treatment simultaneously with exercise. So if you exercise…(??)…for a short period…(????) [Sim] You’re basically just telling us to exercise. (*lol)
[Oh] Nice summary. Especially cardiovascular exercises. [Woo] What’s been repeatedly showing up in
diet-related research reports is that it’s easier to pull yourself together if you meet up with your counselor or supporter when you’re feeling distressed or losing determination. You can visit the clinic you go to, or the gym is fine as well. Friends and family are okay, too. It can actually have better results
if you’re going on a diet together. Talking about the difficulties you’re facing or ways you could improve yourself can help lower your level of stress. Even if it’s just talking. [Oh] Adding to that, even when we’re not on a diet, it’s recommended that you make a clear distinction
between actual hunger and false hunger. You know, you wouldn’t be so picky about
what you eat if you were actually hungry. Like when you’re starving after a hard workout. It could also be important to control your diet by planning out what to eat in advance. If you don’t do that, it might be difficult to resist
when you see food in front of your eyes You might keep checking the fridge
or order a late night snack. So try to keep in mind what to eat during the day. Even if you’re having a snack, try to plan out what type of snack to eat at which timing so that you can decrease the number of times
you consume things impulsively or out of schedule. And when you’re planning your diet, feel free to stick in one or two cheat meals. You know, like a reward for yourself. In the end, there’s no easy way to lose weight. Doing it the proper way helps you maintain that diet
in a longer and healthier way. [Woo] One of the greatest rewards of going on a diet is the change that you notice in yourself. It actually brings many people
the feeling of happiness or getting rewarded. Finding a sense of reward through
developing a sustainable routine could help you go on a healthy diet
without getting too much stress. [Oh] We mentioned CDO Sim’s job because She told us that she wanted to hand out

when I do squats while giving them a piggyback. My kids are really strict to me. So whenever I go “Mmph” they yell,
“Don’t make sounds like you’re working hard!” So I have to mute myself when I exercise. [Oh] In addition to 2 squat machines, We also have 2 hip-up machines prepared. There are also 5 cases of Healthy Story, which is a
