Keto Day 1 | What Happened?


hey guys so I just wanted to give you an
end of day one and kind of morning of day two
Kito summary so I started keto yesterday and I didn’t do the bulletproof coffee
or any of that I just kind of had like you know eggs and just regular proteins
like chicken and salmon and all that drama and I hit my macros for that and I
definitely felt I don’t know I had some mixed emotions yesterday I was very
tired but not like in a way that wasn’t I never reached for my energy pills
which I usually take like two a day they’re natural or as natural as they
get there the UM vintage labs whatever it’s called vintage burn and I never
reached for them which was a really good sign to me because you know normally
it’s like two of those a day or I’m pass out but that wasn’t the case I was able
to fully get through my day no questions asked without it I did not work out
yesterday because I just felt like I needed to give my body a little bit of
something to kind of help transition just keep it a little bit of a break and
I will go back to working out on Monday I’m just gonna take those first so I
guess that big Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday yeah so like four or five days I
slept like a champion last night and I don’t have problems with sleep but I
don’t usually sleep like I slept last night like I slept like I was in a
medically induced coma last night it was so nice and sorry I keep looking at the
wrong thing because I’m filming on my iphone which I don’t normally do this so
I keep forgetting where the camera goes and um let’s see what else what else
what else I think I was a little bit hungry
yesterday but I think that was more mental than anything else cuz I was
really trying to stick to the plan at hand and I don’t know I got out of bed
this morning so that woulda been the top of day two and I was just like and I’ve
heard so many people say oh you know you’re on keto and you get out of bed
and your stuff like so much more energy and I’m I’m definitely I’ve always been
a morning person so for me any improvement would have been really hard
to notice because I always get up with a lot of energy and in a good mood I love
the morning like that’s my jam but today I got up not only was I in a good mood
but I was just like I don’t even know how to explain it’s like my brain felt
full that doesn’t make any sense but I just felt present like really just here
and available to my children and to my guy and just like and and just there you
know in a way that I don’t feel like I maybe normally am and just kind of
motivate it’s like talking to my day and do whatever so I definitely noticed that
this morning and I did do that bulletproof coffee this morning and oMG
it was so good at first when I read the rest thing I was like no but then I
tried it because I’m the kind of girl will try anything once most things but
but it’s just you know regular black coffee a teaspoon just using a
tablespoon of coconut oil and a teaspoon of butter ghee butter if you have it but
I didn’t start just use regular butter because I’m Genki like that and I just
put it in a little bullet you know a little blender so cream it is creamier
than any like coffee creamer that I have ever had in my life and I don’t I didn’t
sweetened it cuz I don’t have anything to sweeten it with besides like Splenda
and I don’t that’s just a poison so I just have that for like baking you know
if we have to do something like that so I like the taste of plain black coffee
but this was like if creamy black coffee or plain black coffee and heavy cream
had a baby boom very good cannot wait to drink it again
tomorrow morning and I certainly did not need to eat anything until about 10:30
this morning and I had that at 7:00 and I even went for like a very light jog I
think it was like it 8:30 or 9:00 mostly cuz I just had so much extra energy I
was like what the hell I wanted to just sort of burn off a little bit of energy
before I came home and started doing my homework but anyway yeah that’s kind of
where I’m at today and and I did just get this keto cookbook I think it’s
called keto meal prep I’ll put the link down below but that’s all right at the
beginning of day two see you tomorrow
