The Importance of an Organic Paleo Diet for Healthy Nutrition | Dr. Jack Wolfson

Hey, it’s Dr. Jack Wolfson, board certified
cardiologist, I’m also known as the paleo cardiologist and that is the topic and title
of my book The Paleo Cardiologist: The Natural Way to Heart Health. So, we talked about paleo style things: sunshine,
sleep, etc. but what is really important of course is organic paleo nutrition. It worked for our ancestors for millions of
years, it’ll work for us. The foundation of the pyramid is vegetables,
after that it’s up to you. Meat, seafood, nuts, seeds, eggs, avocados,
coconuts, olives, and seasonal fruit. I love me some organ meats, I love using lots
of spices, love fermented foods, and don’t forget to drink quality water. And we got all those recommendations for you
on our website, but here’s the thing: organic, plant-based foods. The wild seafood such as sardine, anchovy,
wild salmon, the free-range grass-fed meats and organs of that. So, that’s absolutely fantastic. I start off my mornings with a green drink,
lunch is typically a big salad, and dinner is typically more vegetables and a meat or
a seafood entrée. So, enjoy healthy paleo foods and enjoy health
and wellness and a long happy, healthy life.
